William “Donovan” Young is a senior industrial hygienist with over 10 years of professional safety and health experience. Donovan is dual certified in safety and industrial hygiene. He has worked as a consultant since 2010 providing services to industrial, transportation, mining, medical, energy, oil and gas, petrochemical, and emergency response clients. His primary focus is industrial hygiene / exposure assessment but his technical knowledge in the field of occupational and environmental health and his real-world practical experience makes him an ideal member of the Experien team to pull into a broad range of product stewardship projects when needed. Donovan has received accreditation as an Asbestos Inspector, and Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor, and an Asbestos Air Monitoring Technician, and has also been 40-hour HAZWOPER trained for emergency response. Donovan received his Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 2018 and is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).
